How does reflectivity affect color choice?
You may notice that a photo labeled as a charcoal roof may appear darker like burnished slate, or lighter like Galvalume due to how the photo was taken. Metal is reflective and the color will look different depending on time of day, how the photo was edited, and your specific viewing condition (monitor, mobile, etc). When selecting a color for your project, please request a paper color chart from your contractor. Also, remember when selecting a color that it often looks different when applied to large areas. If you’ve ever painted an interior wall you’ll recall that the finished paint job looked quite different than the small paint chip you selected at the paint store.
